As we live and love, we sometimes get stuck, hurt and disappointed. Gerry Owen’s integrative approach helps us live better personal and spiritual lives by drawing together wisdom from psychology, history and the Five Books of Moses. Gerry’s passion for weaving connections among different wisdom paths has infused his work as Marriage, Family Therapist, as writer, as speaker, and as college history professor (retired). From psychology and as a therapist, the wisdom of Interpersonal Neurobiology, the science of how our emotional brain works in relationships, helps him be more effective with individuals, couples and families. He is one of the first bloggers and writers using this scientific wisdom to explore the wisdom in the Five Books of Moses. Looking at the Five Books through the lens of Interpersonal Neurobiology opens another path to healing personal pain, resolving relationship conflicts, and enhancing our spiritual lives. Gerry lives with Linda, his wife, and their dog Mitz. Luckily they can walk to their office together since Linda is also a Marriage Family Therapist. Gerry is also father, grandfather, photographer and wood carver.
